It all began in 2013 when Mariam Hawilo graduated from the Masters program in Speech Pathology. From the moment she stepped into the clinic, she knew she had found her calling.
Mariam was captivated by the intricacies of language and communication, and she knew that she had the skills and the drive to help those in need. She secured a role in private practice in Revesby.
She began a community clinic in her local Medical Centre where she saw patients under the Medicare Scheme. This was the fruitful beginnings of Achieve - Speech, Learning and Language Services
Slowly but surely, ASLLS grew and Mariam recruited like-minded staff to help her practise flourish. Collectively, we poured our hearts and souls into every patient we saw. We knew that our patients were counting on us, and we were determined to help them in any way we could.
Due to high community demand, Mariam slowly transitioned to working full-time at her Private Practise in Auburn.
Over the years, we have seen countless patients, each with their own unique story and set of challenges. But through it all, our passion has never waned. We have remained committed to our mission to helping those in need, and we have never lost sight of why we started this journey in the first place.
Mariam, our Director, initiated her journey of establishing a high quality clinic for clients and stuff on Level 4 at 39 Queen Street. The clinic is now open and ready to serve.
Today, we are proud to say that we have helped countless individuals overcome their speech and language challenges, and we continue to be inspired by the progress of our patients.
Our story is one of hard work, determination, and a deep love for what we do. We are honored to be able to make a difference in the lives of others, and we look forward to continuing our work for years to come.
